It was said to have been accidentally discovered by a group of chemists that were looking for the elixir for life. Gunpowder can easily destroy human life and buildings. Early gunpowder was not as stable as it is today, its early ingredients insisted of potassium nitrate saltperte, charcoal and sulfur. in society today gun powder is still being used in a negative term. Gunpowder is playing an important role in wars and causing deaths and devastation throughout peoples life.

They traded along the Silk road. The Silk was exported all through Europe and Rome. It is unknown who originally created the process of making silk due to the process was a secret for hundreds of years. The first item of silk clothing was discovered in a wealthy and successful mans tomb in Ancient China. Not only was silk the main trading material in Ancient China it was also for writing on with paints. In todays society silk is still a well sought after material and a valuable trading item although it is no longer used to write on.
